You can retake the exam any time. Each attempt draws a fresh set of questions.

Written practice, ungraded

Write your response in your own notes, then compare it with the sample answer. This practice is separate from the scored exam and does not affect your certificate.

Practice 1

Read tasks.json, charter.json and the supplied flawed handover before running the checker. Treat every file as fictional. List all six IDs and their business purposes. Identify three statements that would cross into operational or clinical authority. Write a brief that allows only a source-linked draft and defines a review stop. Describe a manual alternative and the evidence needed to prefer AI.

Compare with a sample answer

The inventory is H01 projector ticket, H02 stationery receipt, H03 training booking, H04 office-cleaning record, H05 door-repair ticket and H06 noticeboard reprint. Claims that a vehicle is ready, a door is safe or a cleaning standard has been met are outside scope. The brief requires six rows, the cutoff, owners, due times, source IDs and unresolved questions, with no source updates or external actions. A human compares every row; missing evidence or review holds the draft. A manual table can meet the same requirement, so compare total preparation and correction effort before preferring AI.

Use the worked answer to compare the specific evidence and reasoning. This practice is ungraded; neither a completion mark nor keyword matching proves understanding.

Practice 2

Use the evidence cards r01-r10. Show both timestamps and preserve incompatible reports. Calculate r08 observation age at the cutoff. Explain why r10 is absent from the original snapshot. Write H01, H02, H04 and H05 reviewed statuses with source IDs. Name one fact that a matching file hash cannot establish.

Compare with a sample answer

r08 is 1, 140 minutes old and H04 is VERIFY. r10 arrived after the cutoff despite its earlier observation, so H05 remains OPEN using r09. H01 is CONFLICT using r01 and r02 because neither report resolves the other. H02 is COMPLETE using r03 and r04 because the fictional receipt and designated administrative review are recorded. A hash can compare bytes with a trusted reference, but cannot establish that the packs arrived or the reporter is genuine.

Use the worked answer to compare the specific evidence and reasoning. This practice is ungraded; neither a completion mark nor keyword matching proves understanding.

Practice 3

Complete the paper comparison first. Then run the local checker on flawed-handover.json and corrected-handover.json if Python is available. Count inventory rows and supplied rows separately. Identify the missing row and four wrong fields. Calculate correct field comparisons out of 30. Explain why a perfect comparison score is not professional approval.

Compare with a sample answer

The inventory has six rows and the flawed draft has five. H04 is missing; H01 status, H03 owner, H05 evidence_ids and H06 status are wrong. Five absent H04 fields plus four wrong fields means nine unsuccessful comparisons and 21 correct, or 70%. The corrected teaching handover matches all 30 fields, while five tasks still remain unresolved. The checker cannot authenticate evidence, test a real model or establish competence.

Use the worked answer to compare the specific evidence and reasoning. This practice is ungraded; neither a completion mark nor keyword matching proves understanding.

Practice 4

Use H03 and H06 to practise distinct acknowledgement and transfer records. Write the exact owner and state of each task at 10:00. Draft a receipt that makes no completion claim. Specify what a valid H03 acceptance would need to identify. Explain what remains unresolved after H06 acceptance.

Compare with a sample answer

H03 is OPEN with Mara because r07 only acknowledges r06. H06 is OPEN with Inez because r14 accepts the named transfer and r15 then reopens the work. A suitable receipt is “Received this six-task draft; I have not accepted the proposed H03 transfer or confirmed task completion.” An H03 acceptance would name H03, the recipient Lena and offer r06, with a recorded time and the agreed responsibility scope. H06 still needs correct-version reprint evidence and a new review.

Use the worked answer to compare the specific evidence and reasoning. This practice is ungraded; neither a completion mark nor keyword matching proves understanding.

Practice 5

Use the flawed and corrected handovers without changing any source evidence file. Record the H03 owner correction and retain the original version. Calculate row coverage and field comparison for the flawed draft. Calculate both overdue denominators and label them. Explain why no service-performance or model-quality claim follows.

Compare with a sample answer

The H03 correction cites r06-r07 and retains Mara as owner; preserve the original and record the later correction time. Row coverage is 5/6, about 83.33%; field comparison is 21/30, 70%. Two of five unresolved tasks are overdue, 40%; two of all six tasks is about 33.33%. These are different denominators. The six fictional jobs and two authored drafts are not a representative service sample or a live model evaluation. Record the narrow observation and its limitations.

Use the worked answer to compare the specific evidence and reasoning. This practice is ungraded; neither a completion mark nor keyword matching proves understanding.

Practice 6

Prepare a complete Merefield learning packet from the supplied files. Use the corrected sample only after producing your own draft. Make a six-row handover at the stated cutoff with a short questions list. Attach a correction note explaining the flawed sample’s five defect records. Calculate the requested metrics and state their denominators. Run optional comparison and one adversarial mutation, or perform the same comparison on paper. Ask another reader to challenge the ownership and closure conclusions. Write a bounded completion statement and list the checks this exercise did not perform.

Compare with a sample answer

The expected rows are H01 CONFLICT/Asha/09:30/r01-r02/resolve-conflict; H02 COMPLETE/Ben/10:00/r03-r04/none; H03 OPEN/Mara/09:45/r05-r07/confirm-booking; H04 VERIFY/Noor/12:00/r08/reverify-report; H05 OPEN/Pat/11:00/r09/obtain-repair-update; H06 OPEN/Inez/10:00/r11-r15/obtain-reprint-evidence. Dates are 12 October 2026 UTC throughout. The flawed sample misses H04 and misstates H01 status, H03 owner, H05 evidence and H06 status. Metrics: 5/6 row coverage, 21/30 fields, 5/6 unresolved, 2/5 unresolved overdue. A correct sample matches 30/30 fields while leaving five tasks unresolved. A duplicate task or source ID rejects structurally; a wrong known field is a mismatch. Peer challenge and your explanation matter; neither is automatically graded or professionally validating.

Use the worked answer to compare the specific evidence and reasoning. This practice is ungraded; neither a completion mark nor keyword matching proves understanding.

About this exam

Is this exam graded?

Yes. Every question is scored on our server, never in your browser, and you need a score strictly above 80% to pass. The questions are a real, reviewed bank for this course, drawn fresh for each attempt.

Is it only multiple choice?

Yes. This is a multiple-choice knowledge assessment, with at least one question from each chapter in every attempt. Written exercises are separate practice and are not automatically scored. Passing does not establish practical professional competence or independently verify identity.

Is there a time limit?

Yes, 45 minutes, shown as a countdown once you start. If time runs out, whatever you have answered is submitted automatically.

Do I need to download the PDF first?

No. This course's full text is on its own page, so you can read it online and come straight here when you feel ready.

What do you do with my name and email?

We privately record your name, email, request IP, course and privacy acknowledgement for this request. Newsletter consent is separate and optional. See /privacy.html for storage and retention. A passed exam creates a server-stored named certificate. An email confirmation is not identity assurance.

Can I retake it if I fail?

Yes, straight away. Each attempt draws a fresh set of questions and shuffles the answer order, so it will not be identical to your last attempt, and an attempt can only be submitted once.

Is the certificate real?

It is a genuine, server-issued certificate with its own verification page and a unique ID, not a self-declared one. It records that you passed this course's exam on this date. It is not an accredited qualification, a professional licence or proof of employment.
